Boundaries were sketched using descriptions obtained from USPS for each ZIP Code.  The descriptions are based primarily on roads, railroads, hydro and other physical features.  When a road was described as (inclusive), the boundary was sketched to include that road centerline; the boundary may not intersect the frontage parcels.  ZIP Code polygons are not parcel specific and should not be used to reliably extract or select parcels within a zip code.
