Abstract:
Drilling inspections and well construction permits issued by Lee County, Florida.

Purpose:
Dataset serves as an inventory of well drilling inspections and well permits, which consist of but not limited to:  Demolition Well Inspections, which may require being plugged; Water wells, test wells, monitor wells, geothermal wells, test borings, elevator shafts, shared and existing well inspections.  Data is used to analyze water quality & condition parameters of various scenarios.

If a location fell outside the County boundary, or in the waters surrounding the County, it was moved to the parcel centroid.  Points with invalid coordinates and parcel ID (STRAP) were placed on Mound Key in Estero Bay (X/Y State Plane Florida West, NAD 83 X/Y 700,675.117 / 759,096.787 feet)
